2009 Audi A4
The best top three German automakers have long fought for the biggest piece of the pie: the lucrative U.S. entry-level luxury sedan market. And historically, Audi's had the undesired honor of being placed on the latest place. Although very competitive in design, prices and versatility (and even an innovative brand when it comes to certain technologies), Audi's A4 has failed to succed: on the North American market the sales figures that meet those of competing models from BMW and Mercedes.
Audi's newest strategy strategy? Offering more options at an even smaller price. The 2009 Audi A4 is almost 6 inches longer and 3 inches wider than the previous model of the A4 series. That size increase is the main reason for more headroom, more shoulder room and an additional 1.7 inches of rear knee room. Audi officials also pretend the A4 has the biggest trunk in its class.
