2009 Audi A4
Ride and handling both vary from soft and comfortable to very stiff and responsive due to innovative Audi's Drive Select. There are three preconfigured settings that adjust the steering , throttle response, suspension and engine and transmission mapping with the push of a button: Comfort, which helps the driver take advantage of a smooth ride on long trips or over bumpy roads; Dynamic, which is tight and firm for versatile handling and spirited cornering; and Auto, which continuously and reactively reconfigures the Audi A4's settings depending on the road conditions and driving style.
We don't received the fuel economy ratings yet for the 2009 Audi A4, but Audi offficials pretend its new 3.2-liter V6 is 15 percent more fuel-efficient than the 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine used in the previous model. We didn't noticed such a great difference with the new model, however, as our test car got a combined fuel economy rating of 20 miles per gallon — pretty close to the EPA fuel economy rating of 19/25 mpg for the 2008 Audi A4's 3.1-liter Quattro drivetrain.
